Isabel Marant...

Well, you got me Isabel Marant: I finally purchased the Dickers! I always really liked the way they looked but back in 2010 when I tried them on I decided against it because of the price tag. Then when all the hype began on their gorgeous 2011 colour, I couldn't find them anywhere and I wasn't going on a wait list for such an expensive pair of shoes after all. I have many shoes and boots so I thought it was never going to happen. I decided to concentrate my energy on other things (hunting down handbags instead, haha) That was until well 2 weeks ago when I walked into Liberys after a lovely Saturday brunch in Soho and what do I see? A display of new collection Isabel Marant shoes and wedge sneakers, looking like they had literally been placed there 5 mins prior to my arrival. More as a joke I said to the sales assistant to get me a pair in a size 6 and when she came back with the box I literally could't believe it! There they were in a beautiful taupe grey colour, not too green but definitely not camel. The perfect not-achieved-by-anyone-else kind of colour! 

Well the rest is history - they came right home with me! Redeeming factor is that I collected a heck of a lot of Liberty points at this point (re Stella iPad case purchase just before Christmas) so I will get a nice little gift card :)
